Back-up/disaster recovery

The data back-up and restore service takes copies of data from our servers on a pre-arranged schedule and stores the information in a tape library. We also provide a restore service on request.

The equipment, tapes, and control of the management network to provide these services are provided by NTT Europe Online Data Centres. They are all standard services, included in our contract.

We can also allow you secure access through a virtual LAN (local area network) if you need it.

Our hosted exchange service includes a full weekly and a daily incremental back-up, with data saved on-site for 14 days.

A major problem caused by a freak incident or a human error might be unlikely, but it could have a significant, negative impact on your business.

We offer built-in disaster recovery as part of our hosted exchange service. All our back-ups are securely stored at NTT Europe Online’s data centre, even if you are using our on premise solution – so we can quickly restore all your business information.

This means you continue to get access to your data, even via remote desktops or by mobile devices, in the event of a problem.
